KIM RANDU PATRICK
Producer, Studio Manager
Kim Randu Patrick is a filmmaker and storyteller from Kuching, Sarawak, with deep Bornean roots. Her journey into film began at just 10 years old when she auditioned for a role—an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for storytelling.
In 2023, her debut short film, KUMANG, made history as the first indigenous Sarawakian short film to be nominated at Festival Filem Malaysia-33. The film has since screened at various local and regional film festivals and is often referenced by emerging filmmakers and students across the region for its cultural significance and authentic voice. Kim is frequently invited to share her journey, inspiring a new wave of East Malaysian storytellers.
Currently the Producer and Studio Manager at IAINWITHEYES Studios, Kim gained hands-on experience in the production world, further cementing her love for the craft. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Open University Malaysia, all while actively producing and developing new work. A fan of romantic cinema—especially the stories of Nicholas Sparks—Kim brings emotional depth and imagination to everything she creates.
